A preheating plug is screwed into the wall of each combustion chamber of the engine. The preheating plug housing has a preheating plug resistance coil mounted in the pipe. Current flows through the resistance coil, heating the pipe. The tube has a large surface area, which allows it to generate more heat. The inside of the pipe is filled with insulating material to prevent the resistance coil from coming into contact with the inside of the pipe due to vibration. The rated voltage of the various preheating plugs varies depending on the battery voltage used (12V or 24V) and the preheating device. Therefore, it is important to use the correct type of preheating plug. Improper use of preheating plug will cause premature combustion or insufficient heating.
